Episode 49; Angelika Graswald and Susan and Mike Gonzalez

Hello, dear Crime Family, and thank you all for being here for Episode 49!

This week Beth is talking about the case that was known in the media as "The Kayak Killer," but we're not so certain it's that cut-and-dried. Angelika Graswald became infamous after her fiance Vince Viafore drowned on a couple's kayaking trip out to the ruins on Bannerman's Island in the Hudson River. The headlines focused on the prurient points of this case--maybe it's less black-and-white than it was made out to be.

Bailey has an amazing story of survival against all the odds, where Susan and Mike Gonzalez not only lived to tell, but also took down a team of vicious home invaders that had plagued a city in Florida for way too long. You won't want to miss this story.

This week, we are sharing the promo for our lovely friend Sam from Creme de la Crime Podcast. She covers cases that are unsolved and cases that need to have more light shined upon them so the families can get answers. Sam is wonderful, diligent, and puts her whole heart into the cases she covers; please listen and subscribe.

Considering this is a holiday weekend, we hope you are well, we hope you are happy, and we hope you are safe. We love you, Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it.
