Trading with Jesus

Temporada 5

The Miracle Was the Message

It’s Saturday, so today I want to slow things down and stay mostly in the Word. John chapter 2 gives us two powerful scenes that continue the case John began making in chapter 1 about the identity and authority of Jesus.

The Word, the Creator, The King

Before we look at the charts today, I want to spend some time in John chapter 1 because this chapter gives us one of the clearest biblical foundations for understanding exactly who Jesus is. John does not slowly build up to the deity of Christ. He opens with it. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John is deliberately taking us back to Genesis 1:1. Jesus did not begin in Bethlehem. Bethlehem was His entrance into humanity, not the beginning of His existence.

The Storm Didn’t Stop the Purpose

Before we look at the charts today, Acts chapter 28 gives us a powerful final reminder from the book of Acts: circumstances can restrict you, disappoint you, and even knock you off course, but they cannot stop the purpose of God.

Don’t Let Fear Become the Strategy

Before we look at the charts today, Acts chapter 27 gives us a powerful reminder that when everything around us feels chaotic, we still have a choice about where we place our confidence

Your Past Can Become Your Testimony

Before we look at the charts today, Acts chapter 26 gives us a powerful reminder that God can completely transform a life and then use that transformation for His purpose.

The Detour Still Has Purpose

It’s Monday, a new trading week is here, and Acts chapter 25 gives us a powerful reminder that just because the path looks complicated does not mean God has lost control.

Don't Force The Outcome

It’s Sunday, so before another trading week begins, Acts chapter 24 gives us a powerful reminder about how to carry ourselves when the outcome is delayed, the situation feels unfair, and we are tempted to get impatient.

Trust God in the Chaos

It’s Saturday, so the charts are closed and today gives us a chance to slow down, reflect on the week, and remember something Acts chapter 23 makes very clear: chaos does not mean God has lost control.

Your Past Is Not Your Identity

Before we look at the charts today, Acts chapter 22 gives us a powerful reminder that your past does not get the final word over your life. Paul stands before an angry crowd and tells the story of who he used to be, how Jesus met him, and how that encounter completely changed his direction.

Obedience Over Comfort

Before we look at the charts today, Acts chapter 21 gives us a powerful picture of what obedience looks like when the path ahead is uncomfortable. Paul knows hardship is waiting for him in Jerusalem, yet he remains committed to what God has called him to do.
