Total Recall With Jasper & Friends!
Temporada 3
por Jasper Pike
What up!? Welcome to another episode of the podcast... or should I say...podCRASH! Lindsey and Chase are here to discuss the classic bromantic comedy WEDDING CRASHERS, a movie LINDSEY STARRED IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTAL RECALL HAS OFFICIALLY MADE THE BIG TIME BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm writing this here episode description on Wednesday, August 27th. Jurassic Park 3 is on the old TV, and Pete and Cass are on the new couch. You'll hear all about this evening on the podcast in a month or so, but until then I'll just say this: Me personally, I wouldn't let me boyfriend take my son parasailing near the island with all the dinos. But hey, that's just me. Guests: Chase & Lindsey Intern: Madeline Music: Chase Logo: Ross Everything Else: JP
Hello! Another day, another podcast, as the saying goes. Sarah's back on the show to discuss CHALLENGERS, last year's most expensive Uniqlo commercial. We also talk about F1 (both the movie and the sport) and hear Sarah's passionate stance on threesomes. It’s a good one, folks. I'm writing this here episode description on Sunday, August 24. Madeline's on the couch next to me, we just ate a big old pile of chinese takeout and now we're watching Knives Out in anticipation of our impending visit to the great white north. Life ain't too bad. See ya Thursday. Guest: Sarah Intern: Katie Music: Chase Logo: Ross Everything Else: JP
What up? JP here, coming at you with another rambling, grammatically incoherent episode description. I know, your favorite!!! Today we are joined by Katie (great hang, even better pal) to discuss Aladdin (great guy, even better movie), but before we get to all that, she's gonna list off the 5 hottest Disney princesses (2d animation + Tangled ONLY) I'm writing this on a rainy Wednesday, August 20th. Kate The Roommate is spending the evening getting ready for her BRAND NEW JOB! So I'm alone in the living room, eating some gnocchi and watching the Michael Keaton film Goodrich (more like prettygoodrich). Anyways, hope you enjoy the episode, and we'll see ya on Saturday for our next RECALL CENTER!!!! Guest: Katie Intern: Dean Logo: Ross Music: Chase Everything Else: JP
Hey there! How's it hanging? Welcome to another jam-packed episode of the show! The baddies themselves are back, ostensibly to talk about BLACK SWAN, though as you'll hear, that was more of a side-quest. You can check out Lily & Sofia's awesome movie club HERE. I cannot recommend the community they've created enough, plus its a great place to meet hot girls!!! SPEAKING OF, I'm writing this here episode description on Sunday, August 17th. I spent the weekend in Kentucky (Kentucky? More like Can't! Yucky! STRAIGHT TO THE FINAL FOUR WITH YE!!!) at a McKeirnan family wedding. A truly humiliating number of Madeline's relatives came up to me over the last few days to talk about this podcast. I should preface: They had nothing but positive things to say. But, when the mother-of-the-bride comes up to you during the wedding to take issue with an off-hand remark you made about The English Patient, its hard not to reconsider all the life-choices that led you to that moment. Anyways. please enjoy this show which I hope no one ever discusses with me in real life. Guests: Lily & Sofia Music: Chase Logo: Ross Everything Else: JP
Happy Thursday party people. Here's to another super normal week in our super normal world. Ross is back on the show. We talked THE FALL, a movie you keep saying you'll get around to, but deep down in your soul know you'll never really watch. So why don't you spare yourself the trouble and let my man Ross break it down for ya! I'm writing this here episode description on Wednesday, August 13th. I just finished recording four podcasts over the last three days and friends, let me tell ya, this podcasting thing is no joke. You really gotta put in the hours. There's mics to turn on and off. There's computers to plug in. There's F1 references to make. Its a grind. But hey, grinding is what I do. I was built for this. See ya Monday. Guest: Ross Logo: Ross Music: Chase Everything Else: JP AKA The Grinder
Hi there! JP here! Happy Monday! My parents are back on the show, and we're recalling a true Pike Family Classic... GALAXY QUEST. Yes, they do an impression of the aliens. What kind of show do you think I'm hosting here? I'm writing this episode description on Sunday, August 10th. I had a downright delightful weekend in New York City, And now, inspired by Ross and I's discussion of THE FALL (coming to this very podcast feed on Thursday), Madeline and I are watching Pushing Daisies. I love this show. I love Lee Pace. So I'm gonna focus on that, now. I hope you enjoy the episode!!! Guest: Mom & Dad Intern: Auntie Di Logo: Ross Music: Chase Everything Else: JP
What up!? JP Here! Welcome to another episode of the podcast! The sisters Graves are back to recall what may be the best romantic comedy of all time: Notting Hill. Will we do justice to this late-century masterpiece? Probably not. Was it a good idea for me to drink a bunch of beers with Pete and Cass the night before recording? WHO CAN SAY! I'm writing this here episode description on Wednesday, August 9th. I spent the day doing my job (booooo!) and, for the first time all summer, genuinely making progress on my screenplay (wahoooooooo!). I'd been stuck for months, gang. MONTHS. You know how many ideas I usually have in a month? Like 7 or 8! Maybe 6 in February. Anyways, there I was this morning, day-dreaming during an important meeting, and BOOM it all suddenly clicked into place. I was back in business (not literally, though. I'd completely forgotten I was even in a meeting at this point.) God, what a feeling. I love making stuff. Guest: Auntie Di Intern: Mom Music: Chase Logo: Ross Everything Else: JP
Hey! JP Here! Mrs. Total Recall (a title Madeline in unaware of and will read for this first time in this very episode description) is BACK on the show today! Boy, does it feel good to have her on, not in the least because it reminds the world that there is, in fact, one person out there who not only endures, but actively supports, my bullshit. ANYWAYS, today is Sunday August 3rd. The Pikes were in town this weekend and oh man am I freaking exhausted. Yeah, it was lovely to have them here. And yeah, every moment the family spends together is a gift but holy crap gang I'm so tired. All I want to do is lie down and if someone puts a cocktail in my face I will growl angrily at them. And that's all I gotta say about that. Enjoy the show! Guest: Madeline Intern: Paddy Music: Chase Logo: Ross Everything Else: JP
Hello! JP Here! Welcome to another episode of the podcast. Pat & Liv are back to talk Quentin Tarantino, Nazis, and most importantly, the illustrious acting career of BJ Novak. I'm writing this lil description on Wednesday, July 30th. My parents are in town! We just had dinner! I got a steak! It was delicious. You ever had steak? No? You should try it sometime! For real, you should! Actually, dude, I'll pay for it, just go ahead and order... No yeah I'm totally serious... wait... hold on... How much? Is that market price? That's only for fish? And steak isn't fish? Then what the hell did I just eat?! Guests: Pat & Liv Music: Chase Logo: Ross Everything Else: JP
Hey! JP Here! Welcome to the first episode of round two. Anum & Elise are back on the show,. We're talking Set It Up. A great movie and, in my humble opinion, a great episode. I'm writing this episode description on Sunday, July 27th, I attended a Yankees Game and drank a few adult beverages while basking in the white-hot New York sun this afternoon. I'll tell you something, as long as it stays between between us pals. Nothing makes you feel more patriotic than an afternoon at the ballpark. Everything's on fire, obviously, but for some reason I'm ready to salute the next fireman I see. Go America. Go Total Recall. Hope you enjoy the show and I'll see you back here on Thursday.
