Rewriting the Script: A Monologue on the History of Women's Health

In this solo episode, Lauren takes the mic to explore why she’s so passionate about women’s health, and why we all need to care. She unpacks the messy, often painful history of women’s health care across cultures, from ancient myths of the “wandering womb” to modern medical inequities. Lauren shares her personal journey into autonomy, reflects on why so many women are still silenced or dismissed, and shines a light on global issues like maternal health disparities, female genital mutilation, abortion access, period poverty, and more. This episode is part history lesson, part rally cry, and a reminder that women’s health isn’t just a “women’s issue.” It’s a human rights issue. TW: This episode includes sensitive topics like medical trauma, abortion, FGM, and maternal mortality.

Oops...I didn't make it

Ever felt that sudden, panicked “I need a bathroom NOW” feeling, only to not make it in time? You’re not alone, and you’re definitely not stuck with it forever. In this episode, Lauren and Di unpack urge incontinence, that all too common combo of intense urgency followed by leaking, and why your bladder might be setting off false alarms. We cover: What urge incontinence actually is (it’s not just a small bladder or too much coffee) Common triggers like keys in the door, running water, cold air, and anxiety Why “just in case” peeing could be making the problem worse, not better Real-life treatment strategies we use in clinic, from urge suppression to bladder retraining to calming the nervous system Why Kegels aren’t always the hero, and what to try instead Listener Q&A: Does peeing more often help prevent leaks? (Hint: no.) And this week’s WTFact: Did you know some people sneeze when they get turned on? Welcome to the weird world of sexually-induced sneezing. Plus, a TMI bladder fact and a reminder that your bladder is trainable. You don’t have to live in fear of leaks, or feel like you need to map out every public toilet in town.

Uresta Unplugged: Does it pass the leak proof test?

In our first ever product review, we’re talking pee-proofing, pelvic floor hacks, and one device that’s making waves: Uresta. It’s a reusable bladder support that claims to help you laugh, lift, and lunge without the leaks—and we put it to the test. We cover: What Uresta is and how it works What the research says (spoiler: it’s promising) Lauren’s personal trial Real-world feedback from clients and Amazon How it stacks up against other options like Impressa, Contiform, and pessaries Who it’s great for… and who it maybe isn't Whether you're postpartum, perimenopausal, or just plain tired of packing a pad to CrossFit, this one's for you.

I Laughed, I Peed, I Cried

Leaking when you sneeze, laugh, or lift? You're not alone, and you're definitely not broken. In this episode, we dive into the most common type of leaking, stress urinary incontinence, why it happens, and what you can actually do about it. Lauren and Di break down the four core strategies they use with clients, from Blow Before You Go to The Knack, and explain how breath, posture, and movement patterns all play a role in stopping those leaks. Whether you’re leaking during workouts, day to day life, or double unders, this one's packed with practical tips, myth-busting, and a whole lot of pelvic floor wisdom.

Not All Leaks are Equal

This week, Lauren & Di break down the five types of urinary incontinence and why knowing which one you have actually matters. From stress to urge to the classic “key-in-the-door” pee panic, we’re busting myths and giving you real strategies to get your bladder back on track. We also share a hilarious early memory of one mom who wasn’t afraid to sprint-scream her way to the bathroom, wine in one hand, crotch in the other. Whether you’re leaking during workouts, laugh attacks, or on your way home from work, this one’s for you. 🎧 Listen in and learn: Why some kegels help… and others make things worse What “The Knack” is and how it can save your sneeze Our top tools for urge suppression and bladder retraining Why “just in case” peeing might be messing with your bladder And how to actually talk about it without shame

Proper Pooping

In this episode of TMI Tuesdays, Lauren & Di dive into what makes a truly satisfying, pelvic-floor-friendly poop. From positioning (hint: ditch the 90-degree angle) to pressure (yes, breathing matters), we cover the science of proper pooping so you can stop straining and start flowing. We break down: -The gastrocolic reflex—why that post-coffee poop is legit -How to breathe your poop out without bearing down like you're giving birth -Stretches that support digestion and help get things moving -The AIRBAG acronym for proper pooping posture Plus: we answer audience questions like “When should I actually see a pelvic floor physio postpartum?” And don’t miss Di’s hilariously mortifying story about chugging poop tea and almost pooping her pants on the Brooklyn Bridge. This episode is for women AND men—because everybody poops, and most people are doing it wrong.

V@ginal Farts

You know the sound, but do you know the science? This week, we're diving deep into the world of queefing (yes, it's a thing, and no, it's not a fart). From yoga poses to sex positions, we explain why air gets in, why it whooshes out, when it's normal and when it may signal a bigger issue.

Wait You're Going to Put Your Fingers Where?

In this episode, we pull back the curtain on your first pelvic floor physio appointment, what actually happens and why it’s not as scary (or invasive) as it sounds. We share our own experiences with internal exams during training (yep, we had to practice on each other), Di makes a surprisingly accurate comparison between feet and v@ginas, and we tackle listener questions like: How do I know if my pelvic floor physio is qualified? and Why does sex still hurt 9 months postpartum?

Meet Your New Favourite V@ginas (ours)

Welcome to the debut episode of TMI Tuesdays with Lauren & Di! We’re kicking things off by chatting about how we met (spoiler: varsity athletes turned vagina nerds), how we ended up in the world of pelvic floor physio, and why we’re on a mission to make these convos way less awkward. We debut our first WTFact segment (the clit is WILD), break down what the pelvic floor actually is, and go over signs that things might be going a little haywire down there. Plus, we tackle a few juicy questions from the audience. If you’ve ever thought “Is this too much information?” — trust us, it’s not. You’re in the right place.

Exercise in Pregnancy with Robyn Rayner: “There’s No Such Thing as Safe or Unsafe Exercises”

This week Lauren sits down with pregnancy and postpartum athleticism coach Robyn Rayner about what training and exercise can look like through pregnancy. Robyn shares her personal journey of working out while pregnant and her professional playbook for modifying strength and impact work trimester by trimester. Together, they unpack what the evidence actually supports, what’s outdated, and why there’s no such thing as universally “safe” or “unsafe” exercises during pregnancy.
