por Tipped BallsTemporada 1
I’m dumbfounded writing this…but my delusional co-hosts picked the Detroit Lions to win 3 in a row for the first time since 2017. Somehow Uncle Sam and Bruce believe the 7-2 New York Giants and Saquon Barkley will fall to the Honolulu Blue in New Jersey this weekend. Anyone in the mood for Kool- Aid? In other news, the curse of the late game comes up as the Kirk Cousins plays Dak Prescott and the Cowboys at 4:25 Sunday…which ultimately lead to us picking Dallas in a sweep this week. Bruce is heated that Josh Allen gets a warmup game at Ford Field due to snow against the Browns on Sunday before he shows the world what Turkeys truly look like against the Lions on Thanksgiving. Uncle Sam has officially turned his back on Gangrene and picks the Pats, and thinks the Cardinals have the juice to beat San Fran on Monday Night Football live from Mexico City. After a quick recap of Monday night's action, we update you on injuries impacting the fantasy football world in week 11, give you advice on who we would start and who we would sit, and who our weekly sleepers are. Three things are guaranteed in this life. Death, Taxes, and the Lions winning meaningless games to destroy any hopes of seeing Bryce Young in Honolulu Blue. We recap what Sam thinks was the game of the year, where Kirk Cousins and the Vikings gutted out a win over the Buffalo Bills and capitalized on Josh Allen’s miscues. The boys discuss the issues in the Raiders locker room, and give big praise to the Colts, Jim Irsay, and Jeff Saturday. Sam also discusses Tampa's projected resurgence back towards the top ranks of the NFC after a big win in Munich over the Seahawks. Uncle Sam still has hope for the Chargers and loves the downfall of Matt Stafford and the Rams. Bruce brings up the Cowboys, and inevitably Uncle Sam roasts Mike McCarthy. Our midseason playoff predictions, and a Monday night preview cap off an episode for the ages. Sam thinks week 10 is officially the end of the Philadelphia Eagles undefeated season. Uncle Sam on the other hand has lost interest in his secret lover Taylor Heinicke, and instead thinks The City of Brotherly Love will prevail over the entire league this season. Sam believed the Seattle Scumbags will get exposed by Tampa Brady, and prays that that beautiful drive by the Bucs to take revenge on the Rams is a look at things to come. Uncle Sam and Bruce both take big gulps of blue Kool-Aid live on air as they pick the Detroit Lions to keep rolling in an upset over the red hot Chicago Bears and Justin Fields. We preview all of week 10 and make our picks on how each and every game will play out this weekend. We start out show with the one topic on everyone’s mind: Damar Hamlin. After a scary situation on Monday Night Football we take time to keep Damar in our thoughts and prayers and wish him a speedy recovery. All of us reflect on how a horrible occurrence such as this puts everything in perspective, that it’s much bigger then the game, and give our thoughts on how the league handled the situation. We take a few minutes to discuss the outcomes of the New Years weekend games, wrap up week 17, and discuss playoff ramifications heading into the final week of regular season action. we update you on injuries impacting the fantasy football world in week 10, give you advice on who we would start and who we would sit, and who our weekly sleepers are. “I DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE SAUSAGE”
Jim Irsay can’t make sausage…but can he rebuild a football team? Even though history is against him he believes firing Frank Reich and hiring former center and current broadcaster (with no head coaching experience) Jeff Saturday is the right move. Sam goes on a tirade about just how bad both the Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers are, and we finally decide Dan Campbells fate. Uncle Sam thinks the Buffalo Bills are officially overrated, and “Gangrene” is back with a vengeance. We discuss Joe Mixon's 5 touch down game, and The Tugboat finally condemns the Rams and Matt Stafford after Brady reminded us he’s the GOAT as the Bucs beat the worst team in LA.Al Michaels really outdid him self on Thursday Night Football. As did Dameon Pierce who kept hitting “BIG GAPING HOLES” in the Philly D. Ultimately Uncle Sam’s Eagles continued to fly fly fly. We discuss how real the leagues only undefeated team is, as well as Michael Thomas stubbing his toe. Week 9 is chalk full of matchups that have us confused. Uncle Sam is taking a flyer on the Bears D shutting down Tua, Tyreek, and Waddle. Sam for some odd reason still has faith in both the Jags, and Bengals, and Bruce takes the biggest gulp of Kool-Aid ever and thinks the Lions will get over the hump and hand Aaron Rodgers another loss. After a quick recap of Monday night's action, we update you on injuries impacting the fantasy football world in week 9, give you advice on who we would start and who we would sit, and who our weekly sleepers are. It doesn’t even HAVE to be cold. Today was the NFLs long awaited trade deadline, and it was the most active in recent memory. We go through the days biggest deals. Bruce gives his thoughts on the Lions sending TJ Hockenson to the Vikings. Uncle Sam loves the fact that Miami is stacking up for a playoff run with the Bradly Chubb and Jeff Wilson acquisitions. Sam begins to break down all of the week 8 matchups, and still has a hard time believing Denver is for real.
