Notas del episodio
Kit Carson was a famous mountain man, scout, and guide who helped open the American West during the 1800s. Working closely with explorer John C. Frémont, Carson guided expeditions through the Rocky Mountains, Utah, California, and Oregon, helping map western territories during a time of rapid expansion. Carson became known for his survival skills, knowledge of Native American languages, and experience traveling the frontier. He later served as a federal Indian agent and a Union officer during the Civil War. Although remembered as a legendary pioneer figure, Carson’s life was also connected to the difficult conflicts and displacement faced by Native Americans during westward expansion. His story reflects both the opportunities and challenges of America’s frontier era.
