St. Patrick's Day Playlist: The Best Irish Musicians

You don't have to be Irish to enjoy St. Patrick's Day. You don't need green beer, leprechauns, shamrocks, or buckets of gold at the end of a rainbow. What you do need is some great music. To celebrate St. Patrick's Day in 2026, the siblings fought and clawed and researched some of the best Irish musicians (and some that have strong Irish heritage), and put together the definitive list of the best Irish musicians of all time. The list includes everything from monster arena bands to alternative powerhouses to choral groups to foundational metal bands. Join The Music List podcast so that U2 can be in on the fun.
