Swiftly moving on from college basketball we take a look at Chris Simms' recently released quarterback rankings, taking a look at some past rankings while also comparing his current one to mine. We then take a look at this year's running back class, going over the depth at the position as well as discussing why it's a pretty good year to need a running back. Finally we go over Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins' contract extensions, discussing if they're a good or bad move for the organization while also seeing where their duo ranks amongst the other top duos in the league. Today on the Logan Blackman Show we go over everything that has taken place through the first few days of NFL free agency. With that we start by discussing the Seattle Seahawks' recent moves, from sending Geno Smith to Las Vegas and DK Metcalf to Pittsburgh to cutting franchise legend Tyler Lockett after 10-seasons. We then take a look at some other moves from around the league, mainly focusing on Sam Darnold replacing Geno, the JJ McCarthy era, and Myles Garrett ultimately revealing what his true desire is/was. Speaking of rankings, we then take a look at Tyler Shough, someone we wrote about back in 2021 who has also seen a big boost in his draft stock in recent weeks. With that we go over whether or not people truly believe what they say on social media or if they're just writing stuff for engagement. Moving more towards the combine we discuss Shedeur Sanders' decision not to throw while also going over why the interview process is truly the more important for 'non-workout quarterbacks.' We then take some time to go over some rumors surrounding Cam Ward, discussing which teams could potentially trade up for him while also looking at some interesting quotes from the NFL Combine.
