In this first lesson through Deuteronomy, we’re challenged to consider the direction of our faith journey and how our response to God’s Word shapes where that journey takes us.

As Moses prepares Israel to enter the Promised Land, he looks back on their years in the wilderness, reminding them of the consequences of unbelief and the victories that came when they trusted God. Their story reveals a powerful contrast: sin rejects what God wants to give, while faith receives what God wants to give.

No matter where we find ourselves today, God calls us to trust His Word, learn from the past, and keep moving forward in faith. Sin has consequences, but faith has rewards. The challenge is to pursue righteousness, fight the good fight of faith, and take hold of the life God has called us to.
