In this lively episode of The GOODNITE Show, Jordan sits down with Alicia Brown — local influencer, event expert, pageant titleholder, and one of the creative forces behind What’s Good Calgary’s social media presence.
Alicia shares her incredible journey from entering pageants on a whim to becoming Miss Calgary, later Miss Canada, and eventually placing Top 3 in the world. Alongside her story, she talks about her passion for supporting local restaurants, theatre, arts, and events — and how she helps thousands of people discover what’s happening around the city.
The conversation quickly turns fun as Alicia and Jordan dive into:
- 🍕 Their love for Calgary’s food scene
- 🔥 A surprise delivery of a meter-long pizza from Cold Beer and Pizza
- 🍺 A couple of beers from the same spot
- 🎭 What shows, ballets, and theatre events are coming this winter
- ❄️ The best Christmas markets and holiday events to check out
- 🎄 Their own Christmas traditions …and the hilarious, ADHD-friendly back-and-forth that keeps the episode moving at full speed.
A warm, funny, and energetic conversation with someone who truly lives and breathes arts, food, and community.
