Me Time is joining Quack Squawk Honk this month on an incredible EP project called Feminine Rage. The Feminine Rage project represents the anger and oppression that fem/queer individuals and marginalized communities feel towards the patriarchy. Me Time has a track with Kasey Riot called "Shadows", with her own original vocals. The song soundtracks the climactic transformation of six femme archetypes as they confront their inner shadows (jealousy, shame, martyrdom) to reclaim their collective power. "Shadows" is about the process of confronting the parts of ourselves we've been taught to hide, reject, or fear. Our shadows are often shaped by patriarchal systems that pit women against one another as competition.
