Jesus' instruction and John's gospel is clear...but our understanding and application isn't. It's time we changed that.

John 14:12-14: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father, and whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

This scripture has been abused by prosperity preachers and swindlers alike for decades if not hundreds of years, but it doesn't give us liberty to pray for things that aren't Godly. If anything - all of us are praying for the Holy Spirit to give us the desires of our heart ONLY AFTER we've prayed  ...
