As an adult, I left foster care, diving into the vibrant Manchester clothing scene. I worked at Jekyll & Hyde and later Geese, where I thrived, moving quickly from the warehouse to the shop floor. My career took me to London and back to Manchester, where I reconnected with my biological mother, Margaret, under less than ideal circumstances. Despite this, my personal life flourished as I indulged in the city’s nightlife, finding both heartbreak and camaraderie.
