It’s weekend number two of the truckers in Ottawa. Busy street with people and speeches and entertainment on the stage in front of Parliament. And kids playing hockey on the street!

Convoy gets ready for the weekend festivities with a new stage set up and entertainment and speakers. The GoFundMe was removed and requests for donations returned. And the party on Wellington & Metcalfe begins!

The self-proclaimed Queen of Canada is in front of Parliament. The truckers help out around Ottawa. Chris dispels some main steam media claim about the truckers.

Chris takes the stage in front of Parliament. Chris is interviewed by Melanie Risdon of Western Standard and there’s an interview of the Coutts protest. Chris interviews Maxime Bernier of the People’s Party of Canada, PPC.

After the initial weekend in Ottawa, the Convoy now tries to decide what to do while we stay. Our organization WSFullSteamAhead.org steps up and does a fundraiser for shovels so the truckers can clean the streets. The Coutts protest is also happening. And Ottawa locals begin to blame the truckers for their problems.

The Convoy meets in Arnprior just West of Ottawa, however the Picker truck won’t start in Pembrooke which leaves us scrambling and eventually we catch up. And we roll into Ottawa with horns blaring and gridlock traffic. No apologies for this podcast being over 5 hours long! There was a lot happening this day.
