The Big Show FFL
Temporada 1
por James Ryan
In an emergency podcast during the holiday session, James puts together a quick recap of the first two rounds of the playoffs and makes a prediction on the championship between Phil and Tim. Also - the front row continues its dominance as the last time a new champion came into the league remains 2013. WOOF!
In this week's episode, Ryan is unable to attend due to husband duties and The Big Show is left in the hands of fellow Northboronians, Mike List and James. Together, they recap Week 14 and all the results that dictated the First Round of the Playoffs and discuss the video decisions by Chris and Tim on who they chose to play. They also do a Playoff Preview, touch on the Titans firing their GM mid-season, and embark on a journey to figure out what the "Vapor Soul" genre is.
Ryan is back after a hard fought battle with a cold, and is joined by co-host James and a first-time guest in Phil Aroian. With 9 combined championships (over 50% of The Big Show Titles) between them, this was the heaviest hitter episode of The Big Show, to-date. From California, to Florida, to Oregon, the three friends talk week 13 recap, make quick playoff predictions, and reflect on each other's Spotify Wrapped sessions. Also - is Chris' reign coming to an end??
After some time off for Thanksgiving break, Ryan calls out sick on the day of the podcast, leaving his co-host scrambling to find a couple of dudes off the street. Luckily, Jimbo was around for a 2nd time for the pod, and newcomer Brendan made himself available. The three gents recap last week's matchups, discuss this week's ongoing matchups, and have a blast for The Big Show's 18th Trade Deadline.
In this week's episode, Ryan and James are joined by their first reoccurring guest, Ryan Labarre. The three gents recap last week's matchup, where Ryan lets James cut their matchup recap short, because Ryan's victory in the battle of the co-hosts was satisfying enough. They also dive into a playoff preview, looking at each contending teams remaining schedules, and make predictions on who they think will make it who they think will come up short. Also - they play Mary, Fuck, Kill with Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Star Wars.
After a longer than usual lay-off, Ryan and James get together on a Sunday afternoon to recap last week's matchups and review this weeks matchups, while watching some RedZone. Pod's during live games are very fun, and this episode does not disappoint. Also, the boys talk about how laundry can help your family accept watching football all day long, every Sunday.
This week, Ryan and James have two surprise guests join them as they talk about the best way to propose, married life, and the housing market. Oh yeah, they touch on last week's matchups as well as the pile of 4-4 teams, how there were 7 trades done in the last 3 days, and why people are giving up despite being in the playoff race. As always, enjoy the ride, and keep your hands in while the machine is moving!
On this week's episode, Ryan and James have a special surprise guest join them as they watch the Patriots on live television and enjoy Zappe Hour! Unfortunately, the carpet matched the drapes, as it only lasted for about an hour. The three of them recap last week's matchups, dive into the life of an expansion team, and have a heated debate over whether Dameon Pierce is in the same class as Breece (pre-injury) and Kenneth Walker. Hop in for the ride, this week was a blast.
James and Ryan get together this week to recap Week 6 in The Big Show and go through their mutual Power Rankings, as we get closer to the halfway point of our season. They discuss moving, mainly their unhealthy addictions to moving, as well as children's allergies, Halloween, how Russell Wilson is a Fraud, and why Kickers matter! No, sorry, Punters do not matter. Enjoy!
This week, Ryan and James battle connectivity issues while they review The Big Show Week 5 matchups. They touched on where they were right and where they were wrong, give praise to an exciting expansion team, and review all the terrible running backs James can't stop trading for. Also, most importantly...is honey mustard a sauce or a dressing?
