Humble Beginnings
Continuing our study of King David's rise, we see him being prepared for battle in a field of fleece. His training tending sheep leads to bolstered faith when it is needed most.
We continue our study on the rise of Israel as a nation. After much rebellion and omission, the Lord pulls His Spirit from their rebellious leader, leaving Saul to lead a young nation without the blessing of Adonai's anointing.
Continuing our study on the rise of King David, Saul begins his reign as king over Israel and immediately begins making self protection and self promotion his modus operandi. We discuss his character as it takes shape as his will does not bow to the One true God.
We dive into the first part of scriptures that have been highlighted to us over the past year of our journey and begin to discuss what they mean to us.
We talk about our background, how we got to where we are today, and what the Lord has done and is doing while He is healing, restoring and building us up for His purpose.
