Religion and War, Why that's a Bad Mix

Fáilte

Welcome to The Village Oak Tree

I’m your host, Terrance Ó Domhnaill.

Thank you for joining me again this week.

I want to talk about this latest thing in some of the news media from last week about mixing Christian nationalism with warfighting in this war/not war with Iran.

There has been a lot of pushback from all sides, even from the middle east, as Trump unilaterally declared war on Iran, at the behest of the Israelis a week and a half ago.

So, gather round, sit you down somewhere comfortable for a bit as I tell you a couple of my own personal military stories regarding religion in the ranks and some other related news.
