In this message, we look closely at Paul’s call in chapter 3 to “put on” the virtues that reflect the very character of Christ — compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and above all, love. Paul reminds us that the Christian life isn’t about merely avoiding sinful behavior, but about being clothed in the nature of Christ Himself. As we put off the old self and put on the new, we begin to walk in forgiveness, mercy, and grace toward one another — just as our Heavenly Father has shown mercy to us.
