Overview

Today’s episode is one of the hardest—but also one of the most important—days of Holy Week.

On Good Friday, we remember the suffering, crucifixion, and death of Jesus. This episode walks through Luke 23 and helps children understand not only what happened… but why it happened.

⚠️ Parents: This episode contains heavy content as we discuss the death of Jesus. We encourage you to listen together and talk through it as a family.

Here are some key truths from this episode:

  • Jesus was completely innocent
  • Everything that happened was part of God’s plan
  • God’s justice and mercy meet at the cross
  • Jesus willingly obeyed the Father, even to death
  • This was not the end of the story

Scripture Reading

Luke 23:1-49

Matthew 27:51-53
