In Genesis 7:16–24, the flood rises until even the highest mountains are covered, every breath outside the ark is extinguished, and Noah alone remains with those God preserved. We look at the flood as a reversal of creation itself, the significance of the waters prevailing over the earth, and even explore whether an event like the Younger Dryas impact hypothesis could offer a glimpse into the physical mechanisms God may have used as the fountains of the deep burst open and the heavens poured out rain.

Judgment has covered the earth.
