In this episode, we explore the idea of “becoming.” We discuss how we are shaped by experience against nature, and whether we honor the perceptions that we and others have about us, or honor our “essence.” We consider the tensions of acceptance vs. change and performance vs. authenticity, ultimately asking, “Do we decide who we are or are we simply uncovering the truth?” We transition into a segment we’re calling “Can’t Relate/Relate,” where we react to submitted responses to our questions of the day (QOTD), and then wrap up with our key takeaways from today’s topic.
