In the very first episode of The Profoundly Unserious Podcast, Morgan opens the door to her inner world—unfiltered, long-form, and free from the chaos of the Clock App. She shares why she created this space, the experiences and education that shape her perspective, and how this podcast ties into her Texas Empowerment Project and her work in political education.

Morgan talks candidly about growing up in Alabama, navigating race and identity in mixed environments, and how her background in public relations and African American Studies informs the way she breaks down politics and media literacy today. She dives into the concept of patriotism—what it really means, why the right has co-opted it, and why she believes reclaiming it is necessary if we want to build a future that actually serves people.
