Painting Together: Plein Air at Polly’s Petal Patch

In the first episode of The Palette, we visit Polly’s Petal Patch in Angier, NC, the site of The Artists Coalition’s first Plein Air Painters Gathering.

We talk with Cayla, owner of Polly’s Petal Patch, and some of the artists who joined us for the day about creativity, community, painting outdoors, and what happens when artists have a place to gather and make work together.

We also look back at the gathering itself, the participation of artists from Triangle Plein Air, and the spontaneous community artwork that emerged along the way.

The Palette is a podcast from The Artists Coalition, connecting artists, creative spaces, and communities throughout the southern Triangle and surrounding areas.
