What is ANGER in reality? In this episode I discuss what anger is and what it isn't. By my account, it is a symptom of mental illness that is not sufficiently worthy of a diagnosis in the Diagnostic Manual because its expression is so diffuse as to be unanalyzable in terms that will explain the behavior as it appears in a large number of people. Copilot, however, offered a clue as to the commonality of anger across all areas where it is often expressed. As I apply the concept, the best example is the current President of the United States. He presents as someone who has maximum agency, more than anyone else in the world, but behaves in a way that would lead one to think that he has no agency at all.
