DSP Week Discussion | Staci Owen with Co-Host Whitley Lemon

"Our DSPs are incredible and our programs are as strong as they are because of the DSPs that we have." - Staci Owen. ✨ Restoring Hope prepares to celebrate Direct Support Professional (DSP) Week — honoring the dedication, compassion, and impact of DSPs across all programs and locations. We talk about: > 2025 Recognition Categories for DSP Week "Winners" > Challenges & Rewards of DSP Work > Growth & Evolution of the DSP Role > Culture at Restoring Hope > Qualities Appreciated in DSPs What makes Restoring Hope a bit unique is that our DSPs often become “family” to the individuals they support. ISL Homes are individuals’ homes first, not just workplaces. DSPs in our Day Programs and ISLs often know individuals better than guardians, coordinators, or managers. So, celebration in September is an “extra highlight,” but DSPs deserve recognition daily!! 💚
