Geek Down - Tenet, Helstrom, Fearless Dawn meets Hellboy

We delivered the real on Tenet, calling it exactly what it is: a high-concept labyrinth that might reward repeat viewings but realistically it's just exposing Nolan's obsession with smelling himself. Helstrom earned its spot under the knife next as we laid out its gritty command of demonic possession and fractured legacies. Fearless Dawn meets Hellboy capped the session with us stating plainly how this collision between street-level grit and apocalyptic myth is a match made in the deepest booty-cracks of hell! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Wicked, TMNT Black White & Green, Dan Da Dan

We’re getting into a wild lineup this week: Wicked comes through with big vocals, big feelings, and the type of theater-kid confidence that makes the whole room pick a side without asking permission; Dan Da Dan is pure anime chaos with heart, jokes, ghosts, aliens, and enough emotional curveballs to make everybody on the couch start acting like they’ve been day-one fans; and TMNT Black White & Green reminds folks that the turtles still have range when you strip the color away and let the art, grit, and storytelling do the talking. We’re calling out the wins, the reaches, the surprises, and the moments that had us looking around like, “Nah, they really did that.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Saved By the Bell and Red Wings：Aces of the Sky

The Saved By the Bell reboot brings all that Bayside nostalgia back, and the new class is dripping with tongue-in-cheek drama. We're SO excited! 😉 Red Wings: Aces of the Sky is putting you right in the cockpit for some old-school dogfights. The aerial combat will check your ego quick, flyboy. We are breaking down both --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - New Mutants, SNK Allstar, Solar Opposites

New Mutants finally escaped that vault after ages, and the superhero bag has been thoroughly fumbled. Solar Opposites is pure chaotic alien degeneracy, and those guys are wildin' on Earth. SNK Allstar is mashing up all the fighting game legends on your phone, and the mobile gacha chaos is tasty. We're digging into all of it and coming back for seconds --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Lisa Frankenstein, Mr & Mrs Smith, Madame Web

Lisa Frankenstein is serving quirky 80s horror comedy with Diablo Cody twist. It's weird, it's neon, and someone gets gagged with a spoon (like, fer sure!) Donald Glover and Maya Erskine are cooking in the epic spy series Mr & Mrs Smith, there's chemistry, there's awkwardness... what more can you ask for? And the elephant in the room -- Madame Web. Let's keep it a stack: the movie is a LEGENDARY box office flop, but to be fair, the chaotic camp energy and dumbness at least gives us something to laugh at. We are breaking all of that down in the most fair and balanced way possible.

Geek Down - Monster Hunter, KFC：A Recipe For Seduction, Chilling Adv. of Sabrina：Madame Satan

Monster Hunter is giving that typical video game adaptation mess, and the plot is completely lost in the desert. The Madame Satan comic is stealing the whole Sabrina universe with pure demonic shade and dark magic. A Recipe for Seduction has Mario Lopez playing a seductive Colonel Sanders, and it is the most unhinged branding stunt we have seen in a minute. We are breaking all of this down --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - FNAF 2, The Mighty Nein, Dust Bunny

Five Nights At Freddy's 2 is bringing those cursed animatronics back, doubling down on the jump scares and wildin' Blumhouse style. The Mighty Nein is actually cooking, making tabletop D&D look epic and chaotic and sexy. I might need a minute . . . 🥵 . . . Dust Bunny is serving weird supernatural horror, and those creepy vibes are definitely messing with everybody's head. Also -- who's hippo is this???? We getting into all of it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, Fatman, Raji, Hidden Society

That LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is pure goofy fan service and the timeline is a total mess. Raji delivers beautiful Indian mythology vibes, even though the combat is struggling to keep up. Hidden Society brings some dark occult energy to the comic racks, and the magic is actually cooking. Fatman got Mel Gibson playing a gritty Santa throwing hands, and yes it's unhinged. We letting the fur fly on all of it!

Geek Down - Clerks 3, Medieval, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Legion of Forgettable Supervillains

Kevin Smith is back milking the nostalgia teat with Clerks 3, and it's been WAAAAAY more than 37 by now (my dude Dante CAN NOT catch a break!) Cyberpunk Edgerunners is absolute chaos, and Night City stays the grittiest, the grimiest, and ruthless with the trauma. Legion of Forgettable Supervillains is exactly what it sounds like, but the D-list comedy is actually carrying the book. Medieval is out here just slicing heads off with Ben Foster going full brute mode for two hours straight. We getting into all of it, loud and with a sprinkle of ratchet --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Get Duked, Not for Broadcast, Blackwood the Mourning After

Get Duked is chaotic British survival comedy personified, with those posh aristocrats wildin' out on some teens from the block. Not for Broadcast puts you right in the editing booth for some dystopian news manipulation, and the dark comedy hits hard. Blackwood: The Mourning After is bringing dark academia supernatural drama to the comic racks, and occult vibes are in this season. We are breaking down all three right now. The conversation is loud and completely unfiltered.
