The Gifts of the Spirit | Session 3

The Holy Spirit’s work in the New Testament is not disconnected from His work in the Old Testament. From creation onward, the Spirit forms, fills, orders, empowers, and brings life. The same Spirit who hovered over the waters, filled Bezalel with wisdom, rested upon leaders and prophets, and empowered God’s servants is the Spirit poured out upon the Church. Reviewing Sessions 1 and 2, this teaching traces the Spirit’s forming and filling work through the vision of Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones. In Ezekiel 37, scattered bones are first brought together and formed into a body, yet the body remains lifeless until the breath of God enters it. The vision reveals that divine formation without divine filling is incomplete. God does not just assemble a people; He breathes His life into them. Ezekiel also prophesied that God would cleanse His people, give them a new heart and a new spirit, and place His own Spirit within them. In the New Covenant, this promise becomes a reality. Through the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus, the Spirit forms believers into the body of Christ and fills that body with the presence, character, power, and life of God. The Church is therefore more than an organization or gathering. It is a Spirit-formed and Spirit-filled body. The Gifts of the Spirit | Session 2

The gifts of the Spirit did not begin in Corinth or even at Pentecost. They flow through the entire biblical story. In this session, we trace the Spirit’s work through the Old Testament as the breath of life, the fire of holiness, the giver of wisdom, the source of prophetic speech, and the promise of restoration. Through Genesis, Numbers, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Joel, we see how the Spirit gives life, empowers leadership, purifies hearts, awakens prophetic witness, and prepares the way for the outpouring of the Spirit through Jesus Christ. This teaching also explores why holiness and power must remain together. The Spirit who empowers God’s people also cleanses, renews, and forms them in holy love. Scriptures: Genesis 1:2; Genesis 2:7; Numbers 11:24–29; Isaiah 11:1–3; Ezekiel 36:26–27; Ezekiel 37:1–14; Joel 2:28–32 Spirit of God, breathe upon us again. The Gifts of the Spirit | Session 1

In this teaching, we explore the Gifts of the Spirit through a biblical, Christ-centered, and Spirit-formed lens. The gifts of the Spirit are not spiritual trophies or private possessions. They are graces given by the Holy Spirit for the building up of the body, the strengthening of the Church, and the witness of Jesus Christ in the world. Together, we look at how the Spirit works through the whole person — body, soul, and mind — and why every gift must be shaped by the character, humility, holiness, and love of Jesus. This session also addresses how spiritual gifts are meant to flow within the Church through discernment, order, love, and the common good. Pentecost: The Spirit, The Nations, and The Reversal of Babel

In this teaching, we explore Pentecost through the lens of Shavuot, Sinai, Babel, and the Divine Council worldview. Pentecost is more than a moment of spiritual experience; it is covenant renewal, temple formation, harvest, and the beginning of Yahweh reclaiming the nations through His Spirit-filled people. From the fire on Mount Sinai to the tongues of fire in Acts 2, we trace how God forms a covenant family, writes His law on the heart by the Spirit, and empowers the Church as a royal priesthood and living temple. We also examine Pentecost as the reversal of Babel, where the scattered nations begin to hear the mighty works of God in their own languages and are gathered into one Spirit-formed family in Christ. Recovering Church: The Ekklesia of the Kingdom

In this teaching, we recover the meaning of the word church by looking beyond modern assumptions and returning to the biblical idea of the ekklesia, the called-out assembly of God’s covenant people. The Church is not a building, a weekly event, or a religious brand. It is the people of God gathered under the reign of King Jesus, formed by His Word, filled with His Spirit, ordered by His authority, and sent on His mission. We explore how the Church is the visible, Spirit-filled expression of the Kingdom of God on earth. Jesus did not come to establish private spirituality, but to form a covenant people who would embody His reign, carry His authority, proclaim His gospel, and demonstrate His power. The Ancient Path of Humility: A Way of Life and Cry of Intercessoin

In this teaching, we return to The Ancient Path of Humility not as weakness, but as the way of Christ, the posture of true intercession, and the foundation for a faithful church. Drawing from Philippians 2, Jeremiah 17, Hosea 4, 2 Timothy 3, James 1, Matthew 25, and 1 Peter 5, this teaching calls believers away from pride, spiritual performance, selfish ambition, and religious appearance without surrender. Humility is the ancient road where prayer becomes pure, holiness becomes visible, and justice for the vulnerable becomes central. We explore how God forms a people who are single-minded in prayer, rooted in the knowledge of Him, clothed in compassion, and willing to serve the least of these. This message is a call to walk low before the Lord, reject the spirit of celebrity and sordid gain, and become a humble house of prayer formed by the mind of Christ. Becoming a House of Prayer: Living Stones, Holy Fire, and the Ancient Path of Intercession

In this teaching, “Becoming a House of Prayer: Living Stones, Holy Fire, and the Ancient Path of Intercession,” we return to the burden of Jesus: “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” This teaching calls the Church beyond prayer meetings and ministry activity into becoming a consecrated habitation for the presence of God. Through passages such as Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:12–13, 1 Peter 2:4–5, Romans 8:26–27, and James 1:27, this episode confronts the compromise that turns sacred space into religious performance. Jesus cleanses what He intends to inhabit, and His cleansing exposes where we have celebrated gifts while neglecting holiness, justice, mercy, and obedience. This message calls believers back to the ancient path of prayer, repentance, intercession, and shared life. A true house of prayer is formed by living stones, sons and daughters who carry God’s heart for the widow, orphan, fatherless, poor, stranger, broken, and lost. From personal cleansing to corporate habitation, God is building a people who become sacred space in their city, region, and territory. The Land Shall Be Married: Covenant, Stewardship, and Restoration

This teaching explores the biblical call to steward the land God entrusts to His people. Beginning with the original mandate in Genesis, humanity was created to cultivate, guard, and bring fruitfulness to the earth. Throughout Scripture, from Abraham’s promise to possess the gates to the prophets’ call to establish justice to Isaiah’s declaration that the land will be “married,” we see that the land is tied to covenant faithfulness and to God’s purposes in the earth. To “marry the land” means saying yes to the place God has given you: cultivating righteousness, restoring what is broken, and helping the land prosper under God’s blessing. This teaching invites believers to return to the ancient path and recover their role as faithful stewards who partner with God to bring life, justice, and renewal to the land. Before the Fire Fell: Elijah, the Reviving of Sons, and the Repairing of the Altar

In this teaching, we step into the confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal to recover the true burden of prophetic ministry. Before the fire fell on Mount Carmel and before the rain returned to the land, there was a son who had to be revived. This message calls the Church to look beyond provision, platforms, and outward signs, and to return to the Father’s heart for sons and daughters who are spiritually dying in droughts of discipleship, traditions of men, and famines of faith. Elijah’s ministry was not just about signs and wonders; it was about revival, fathering, altar repair, and restoring covenant identity. The spirit of Elijah raises sons, repairs broken altars, restores Christ to the center, and calls a generation back to true worship. This episode confronts the difference between strange fire and holy fire, between dancing on broken altars and dying on restored ones, between religious performance and sacrificial surrender. God is not looking for entertainment-driven altars shaped by the tools of men. He is looking for living stones, sons and daughters conformed to the image of Christ, baptized in the water of the Word, and ready to become a habitation of His presence. The fire falls where the Lamb is restored, the sacrifice is laid down, and the altar is repaired For More Teachings On: Ancient Faith • Divine Council Worldview • Spiritual Warfare • Prophetic Ministry • Discipleship • Kingdom Mission Join our Facebook Group: The Garden Fellowship Download our App: https://thegardenglobal.com/ Support the show
