Why Marriage is Worth it!

In this episode I explain the importance of marriage. I give 3 reasons as to why you should get married. I try to keep it simple and honest. Marriage is a beautiful thing, and if the commitment to marriage ought to be a priority in everyones life.

The Price of Pride

In this episode, we dive into the powerful tension between pride and humility through the lens of Luke 18:18–24—the story of the rich ruler who walked away from Jesus. What was he really holding onto? Why is pride so subtle, especially when we think we’re doing everything right? We’ll also explore wisdom from Proverbs that exposes how pride can quietly take root in our hearts, even in seasons of success or religious devotion. This is a heart-check conversation for anyone chasing comfort, control, or status—because Jesus still says, “You still lack one thing.” Let’s talk about what it really means to let go, follow Him fully, and walk the humble path that leads to life.

Faithful Wounds: The Gift of a Loyal Friend

In this episode, we explore what true friendship looks like through the lens of 2 Sam. 24 and Proverbs 27:5-6. Using the story of David and Joab, we unpack how a faithful friend doesn't just stand by you-- they're willing to challenge you for your good Sometimes love shows up not in comfort, but in correction. Join me as we talk about the kind of loyalty that sharpens, rebukes, and ultimately points us back to God.

Parents, Know your Kid's Friends

In this episode we take a look at 2 Sam. 13 and how Amnon, David's son, takes bad advice from his "friend" Jonadab, David's nephew. The advice that was shared costed Amnon his life. It is imperative that we as parents are careful of who we allow into our kids lives. I hope this episode helps!

Raising Kids in Church vs. Raising Kids in Christ

In this weeks episode, I really try to focus in on the importance of raising our kids to become a Christian vs. raising them thinking they are already a christian. If they know the difference, that makes all the difference. Treat them like unbelievers, tell them about Jesus, live like you love Jesus, and pray with and for them.

Grateful for Easter

A grateful heart is hard to have at times; especially when there is tons of things to complain about. But God becoming a man and dying in our place is something we can all be grateful for! I hope you enjoy this episode. Do not forget to like, share, and subscribe!

The Power of Confessing Our Sin

In this episode I discuss how to move past a besetting sin, and that is through confession. Confessing our sins to the people we have sinned against is the best way to move past the same sins we continually commit. I hope Shias episode is a blessing and a challenge to you all.

Forgiveness Kills Anger

Anger is something that we all struggle with in our lives. And we can be angry for a good or for a bad reason, either way, we should look to cure our anger with forgiveness. We should be willing to forgive others because God has forgiven us.

Your Kid's Character is a Reflection of you.

The Bible and life attest to the FACT that your kids are like you or your spouse. All the negative traits you see in your kids is typically a negative trait that is found in you. All the positive traits are probably in your spouse. We need to have wisdom on how we navigate our children's character. This episode helps with that! enjoy!

Kind, but not gentle, parenting

Gentle Parenting is a parenting style that is being prompted by the culture and rejected by the church as a whole. I don't go into gentle parenting in this episode, I mainly focus on the importance of a father and how we, as men, ought to be raising our kids the way that Paul says in Ephesians 6:4. I hope this episode is a blessing to you!
