Christ 4 Every Day Living podcast update: the episodes will be transitioning on a temporary weekly schedule on Sundays. We will continue on this journey as we learn how to walk and how to live in truth every day, all day with Christ.
(John 8:42-44) In this episode, the Biblical insight and truths are given about God's enemies. God's enemies want humans to believe there is no such thing as "the devil". Jesus in human form called him many names and even responded to him on the high mountain in a Judean wilderness desert. The devil is real and has been given a temporary place on this earth to be a lord, father and a ruler - the lord of flies/filth/dung. The father of lies. The ruler of this world.
SCRIPTURES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:
- John 8:42-44 – Reading to understand The Truth of God when Jesus called out the truth inside of the employees of the father of lies. They accepted their father's teachings and refused to learn about Father God - The Creator's teachings.
- Mark 1:1-13 & Matthew 4:1-11 – These are references to read, to study, to accept and to understand that the devil is a real force. Jesus responded to the devil after he-Jesus, finished being in God's Holy Presence on a high mountain in a Judean wilderness desert.
- Revelation 12:9, 1 Peter 5:8, John 10:12, John 8:44 & 2 Kings 1: 2-3 – These are references to read, to study, to accept and to understand that the devil has many names. Facts: Helel (Heylel) was created to be the shining one, morning star or bearer of brightness. Due to pride in him, that rebellion got his Holy name stripped away. He is now called many names none of which represents God's Holiness.
GOLDEN KEYS:
- God wants us to be well informed, not ignorant, to the tricks and strategic plans from the father of lies-the devil.
- Utilizing God's Word as Divine Instructions for our lives.
- In our resting state (season) not only are we being refreshed but we are being taught how to maneuver around the devil so that we don't get trapped up in lies-evil.
