In this week's segment of School of Stock, I go over why a down stock market is in fact a good thing! A declining stock market allows investors the opportunity to buy stocks at discounted prices. As the saying goes, "Buy low & sell high", with a down stock market we see lower prices across the market as a whole. It is also important for the market to rebalance itself over certain courses of time. It is impractical to think the stock market will only go up, so these corrections are necessary to keep the stock market balanced & practical.
