The ROTC Banquet to honor Col. Taylor is right around the corner at Hillman, and Ron is anxious about whether or not he'll win the Cadet of the Year award. Rod & Ryan dig into Ron's obsession with winning this award and Mr. Gaines being Mr. Gaines. Of course they digress...but they digress A LOT from grown men playing high school football, nicknames, and vocabulary words.

A Different World: The "Kim is broke plus Dwayne & Ron in a commercial" episode

Kim needs help but doesn't want help as she struggles to pay for school. Ron & Dwayne are in a commercial against NBA greats. Finally, they digress about who goes to heaven and long touchdowns.

Rod & Ryan will dive into Whitley's Emmy nod that she never received, nepotism, and Ron's sister (that didn't sound right). They also digress about MJs burns, Alfonso Ribeiro, and their neighborhood.

the blacklog does Spike Lee's School Daze

Rod & Ryan dive deep into the Spike Lee film, School Daze. It follows "Da Fellas", "G Phi G", and color-struck people. They discuss black fraternities/sororities, dark-skinned vs light-skinned, and how it ended. They also digress.

A Different World: "The Walter & Dwayne recruitment story" episode

Walter and Dwayne recap their basketball recruiting trip to everyone in a cold Gilbert Hall lobby that included arrests, fights, and jail. Rod & Ryan dig into this episode including Dwayne's Whitley obsession, Walter's past due jaywalking tickets, and Julian not being that bad of a dude. They also digress about Tony Burton in Rocky and a wild story about crabs...the kind you eat.

The Greatest Cheating Songs Ever Made

Remember those love songs that sounded so good when you heard them that you never thought about the fact that the lyrics were about cheating??? Rod & Ryan dive into their choices for best cheating songs of all time, and they (of course) digress. And yes, they will miss on some, so forgive them.

A Retrospective: Michael Jackson's videos, pt. 2

This is the second half Rod & Ryan's celebration of two years of the blacklog by looking back at Michael Jackson's greatest videos. Part 2 looks at MJ post-Thriller. They also digress about Wesley Snipes, a club in the projects of New Orleans, and Isotoner gloves. You can also listen to the podcast on Spotify, RSS.com, and Apple podcasts.
