Fastened Toward The Future!

“The future has arrived. The future has arrived. The future has arrived. The future has arrived. The future's arrived. Nobody can doubt. The future is what everything's about. It's better for you and it's better for me. It's better than what everybody thought it would be” - (Disney's Meet the Robinsons, 2007 / the song also plays at the end of the film by The All-American Rejects). “The truth will set you free, brother” - Wilbur Robinson (Disney's Meet the Robinsons, 2007). I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead (Philippians 3:13, TPT). Step By Faith: God is calling you forward, not backward. Don’t let yesterday keep you from moving forward toward what He has ahead for you in Todayland and Tomorrowland. Verses for Thought: Philippians 3:13 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Revelation 1:8 / Job 14:5 / Isaiah 43:19 / Joshua 1:9 / Revelation 1:8 / Romans 8:28 / Ephesians 3:20-24 Email Me! Left Unfinished

“Come on! I know it's a dump, but it's all I got." - Vanellope von Schweetz (Disney's Wreck It Ralph, 2012) Vanellope says this to Ralph when she shows him where she lives, and her secret unfinished racetrack in Diet Cola Mountain. Ralph then makes a drivable track to help train her how to drive her newly made go-kart they built together. Keep your eyes on Jesus, Who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—He could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now He’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God the Father (Hebrews 12:2, MSG). Step By Faith: Don’t let the distractions of today steal your focus. Keep your eyes on the One Who leads you forward with joy and purpose to finish the race of your faith in Him. Verses for Thought: Hebrews 12:2 / Philippians 1:6 / 2 Corinthians 3:18 / Proverbs 22:6 / 2 Corinthians 5:7 / Romans 10:17 / Romans 12:2 / Genesis 9:6 / Revelation 22:13 Email Me! No Other Place to Be

“There’s no place I’d rather be than on my surfboard out at sea. Lingering in the ocean blue, and if I had one wish come true, I’d surf till the sun sets beyond the horizon.” - (Disney's Lilo & Stitch, 2002) Jesus said to them, “Why would you need to search for Me? Didn’t you know that it was necessary for Me to be here in my Father’s house, consumed with Him?” (Luke 2:49, TPT). Take a Step By Faith: Just like Jesus desired to be in His Father’s house, let today be a moment to intentionally draw close to God’s heart. Verses for Thought: Luke 2:49 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Isaiah 41:10 / Proverbs 23:18 / Romans 8:28 / Esther 4:14 / Luke 10:42 / Matthew 6:33 / John 15:5 / 1 Corinthians 1:27 Email Me! Through the Dry Desert

Yar: “Hey, old girl, you're wandering off a bit.” Eema: “That's all I need: a monkey on my back.” Aladar: “On your feet, Eema. We can't let those things eat you.” - (Disney's Dinosaur, 2000) The elders of Israel will accept your message. Then you and the elders must go to the king of Egypt and tell him, ‘The LORD, the God of Israel, has met with us. So please let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to give our offerings unto the LORD, our God.’ (Exodus 3:18, NLT). Take a Step By Faith: God still calls His people to move in faith. What step is He asking you to take today by faith? Verses for Thought: Exodus 3:18 / Exodus 13:17 / Romans 5:1-5 / Exodus 14:10-15 / Psalm 46:10 / Isaiah 40:21 / Hebrews 6:19 / John 4:10 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Joshua 1:3 Email Me! Reminisce His Presence

“Remember me. Though I have to say goodbye. Remember me. Don't let it make you cry. For even if I'm far away I hold you in my heart. I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart” - Miguel (Disney/Pixar’s Coco, 2017). Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps and the golden bowl is broken. Don’t wait until the water jar is smashed at the spring and the pulley is broken at the well. 7 For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:6-7, NLT). Step By Faith: Dear Lord, help everyone listening today to remember that every breath we take and every moment we’re awake is a gift from You. Draw our hearts close to You each day, and fill us with the comfort of Your Presence. Help us to remember the wisdom, peace, and eternal hope You freely give when we remember You in every moment of our lives. Amen. Verses For Thought: Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 / Philippians 4:8-9 / Proverbs 4:23 / Psalm 91:11 / Malachi 3:6 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Proverbs 3:5-6 / Psalm 16:8 / Isaiah 40:28-31 / Psalm 40:3 / Revelation 14:3 / Ephesians 4:6 / Hebrews 13:5 Email Me! Trying Anything Is Possible

I won't give up, no, I won't give in ‘til I reach the end, and then I'll start again. No, I won't leave, I wanna try everything! I wanna try even though I could fail” - Gazelle (Disney's Zootopia, 2016). Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God” (Mark 10:27, NLT). You are here listening to the 80th episode of Season 2 Part 2: Tune Into Melody!!!! Yay!!! Pressed By Pressure

“Under the surface, I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be of service. A flaw or a crack, the straw in the stack that breaks the camel's back, what breaks the camel's back?” ~ ~ ~ “Pressure like a grip, grip, grip, and it won't let go, whoa. Pressure like a tick, tick, tick 'til it's ready to blow, whoa, oh, oh. Give it to your sister, your sister's stronger. See if she can hang on a little longer. Who am I if I can't carry it all? If I falter…” - Luisa Madrigal (Disney's Encanto, 2021) A healthy spirit conquers adversity, but what can you do when the spirit is crushed (Proverbs 18:14, MSG). Step By Faith: Lord, strengthen every weary spirit listening today; when hearts feel crushed, lift them with Your healing hope and restore their inner strength. We give the weight of our troubles over to You, Lord, and we depend on You to hold us up with Your strong right hand. We thank You. Amen. Always Near

“Always there to welcome you in winter (What is a family). Arms out wide to welcome you to stay (Right by your side). Near enough to listen to your heart's song. Always there to help you on your way. Family. Always there. Family!” - (Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure, 2001). Don’t panic. I’m with you. There's no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you (Isaiah 41:10, MSG). “For this is the night, and the heavens are right on this lovely bella notte” - Tony & Joe, the chefs (Disney's Lady and the Tramp, 1955). Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone (Romans 12:18, NLT). Step By Faith: Lord, help us live in peace with everyone as far as it depends on us. Live By It Well

“…Was a bug, little bug, hardly there. How he felt, what he dreamed, who would care? Without any evidence (his flaws were many), he was full of confidence (some people haven't any). Didn't have much common sense (it's highly over-rated), he just knew that he'd come through. It's the time of your life, so live it well…” - Randy Newman (Disney/Pixar's A Bug's Life, 1998). I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul (3 John 1:2, MSG)! Step By Faith: God, we receive Your desire for us to flourish—spirit, soul, and body. Let Your truth guide us into wholeness, and may everything in our lives grow strong in You. Amen.
