It's Not Perfect, but It's Possible (Kingdom Adventurer: Cinderella)

“You know the orders. Then if you don't want to lose a nice warm bed, you'd better get rid of those dreams. Know how? Just learn to like cats. No, I mean it. Lucifer has his good points as well. For one fact, he... Well... sometimes he... Huh... There must be something good about him…. I know it isn't easy, but at least we should try to get along together.” - (Cinderella, Disney’s Cinderella, 1950) Don’t you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. (Genesis 50:20) Kingdom Moment: Cinderella had every reason to be frustrated with Lucifer, but she still stopped and tried to find something good about him. And Joseph could look at what his brothers intended for his harm and still say, ‘God intended it all for good.’ Today’s Kingdom Moment is not pretending that wrong is right, that it's always good all the time, or excusing what they did–it’s refusing to let what's bad, and what was meant to hurt you, have the final word. Look for something good, choose the Kingdom response, and trust God to redeem the rest. Verses for Thought: Genesis 50:20 / Romans 8:28 / Matthew 19:26 / Mark 10:27 / Psalm 23:5 Email Me! Not Ideal, but Ordained (Kingdom Adventurer: Cinderella)

“It is a little snug, but it'll have to do.” “It’s certainly not my idea to feed you first. It’s orders.” (Cinderella, Disney’s Cinderella, 1950) Our hope comes from God. May He fill you with joy and peace because of your trust in Him. May your hope grow stronger; overflowing, by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13) Welcome back, Kingdom Adventurer! Be sure to check out the Season 3 | Once Upon a Kingdom (Introduction Part 2), where you’ll meet two NEW characters of the Animated Faith podcast– Bethany and Lumin. The silver-haired traveler with an enchanted technicolor paintbrush, that’s Bethany—and the shaggy white lion companion, and best friend, with deep blue eyes and a cross written upon his ear— that's Lumin. And together, you’ll travel along beside them throughout animated worlds to discover the Kingdom Moments that can animate faith within you. So today, let’s toon into a Kingdom Moment by stepping into Cinderella’s animated world… Kingdom Moment: Now it's time for today's Kingdom Moment! A Kingdom Moment is a simple opportunity to make God's Kingdom visible right where you are. And today’s Kingdom Moment from Romans 15:13 says that God fills us with joy and peace as we trust Him, so that we overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, don’t try to fit into what is “ideal” if it’s not the right fit for you. Don’t let the orders, pressures, and expectations make you lose sight of your hopes and dreams. And don't keep that hope in believing, to yourself. Ask God to lead you to one person who needs encouragement, and create a Kingdom Moment they'll never forget. Hope is contagious when it's shared. Hope Keeps Believing (Kingdom Adventurer: Cinderella)

Glass Steps of Faith | Kingdom Adventurer: Cinderella Welcome, Kingdom Adventurer! Toon into the world of Disney's Cinderella, 1950, to discover every Kingdom Moment within her world. Stay tooned into Season 3, where many Kingdom Moments can be found within every animated world. “If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.” (Cinderella, Disney’s Cinderella, 1950) What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. (Hebrews 11:1) Step By Faith: Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that faith gives substance to what we hope for and confidence in what we cannot yet see. Today, whenever you look at what time it is, whether it’s on your phone, a wall clock, an alarm clock, in your car, or from a watch, let it be a reminder to you that God is working on what you're still waiting for. Faith believes in His timing before the promise becomes visible; for God is never early and never late– He’s always right on time. Welcome Season 3 | Once Upon a Kingdom (Introduction Part 2)

Trailer
Before the first doorway opens, Kingdom Adventurer, there are two travelers you need to meet. Animated Faith follows a silver-haired Kingdom Adventurer named Bethany. With her shaggy hair, black-framed glasses, tiny black lip ring, and oversized black hoodie, Bethany doesn’t look like the kind of character you would expect to find inside a traditional fairy tale—and that is precisely what makes her iconic. Upon her feet are high-top glass sneakers filled with technicolor Kingdom Sparks. They never illuminate the entire road at once; they glow just brightly enough to reveal her next glass step of faith. In her hand, Bethany carries an enchanted technicolor paintbrush that can make invisible reminders of God’s hope, promises, and Kingdom visible within even the darkest places. Traveling beside her—never behind her—is Lumin. Lumin is a white lion with deep blue eyes, an untamed shaggy mane, and a small cross written upon his left ear. Want to know a secret? Sometimes, the small cross written on Lumin's left ear can be seen on his right ear. No one knows how or why it happens- it's even a mystery to Bethany, but that is the great mystery in having faith! (1 Timothy 3:16) Lumin is also powerful, protective, curious, gentle, and occasionally a little stubborn. When Bethany rushes ahead, Lumin reminds her to slow down. When she becomes afraid to take another step, he gives her a gentle nudge. And when the darkness makes it difficult for her to see clearly, Lumin is often the first to notice a Kingdom Spark appearing in the distance. Lumin is not Bethany’s pet or sidekick. He is her trusted, loyal companion and fellow Kingdom Adventurer. And, not only is he Bethany's guardian who walks beside her, he is her very best friend! Together, Bethany and Lumin will travel beyond palace walls, through enchanted forests, across endless oceans, over distant mountains, and into animated worlds filled with familiar stories. They aren’t entering these worlds merely to watch the stories unfold. They’re looking beyond what can be seen to discover Kingdom Moments of courage, redemption, identity, sacrifice, transformation, wonder, and faith. And you won’t be watching their adventures from outside the story. There is a place for you beside them. So, welcome, Kingdom Adventurer. Bethany has her enchanted paintbrush. Lumin is watching the horizon. The Kingdom Sparks are beginning to glow—and the first doorway is waiting. Once Upon a Kingdom… every story whispers His name.

For Such a Moment as This

“This way is left, but which way is right. Oh, now I'll be circling in circles all night. Oh, so this is forward, no problem. I can't believe I can do this and more; to swim in the sea, like I walk on the shore. Out of my shell, not closed up like a clam. God see, this is me, here I am…” “For a moment, I can shine. Get a grin and a fin that works fine. My fingers are wrinkly, I really don't care, if all of my curls have curled out of my hair. For a moment, I can feel all the dreams I'd been dreaming are real. Wish my mother could hear it, the sea is my song. For a moment, just a moment, I belong.” - Melody (Disney’s The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, 2000) “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].” (Matthew 5:13) When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed in hope anyway, deciding to live not by the basis of what he saw in the moment, but by God Who said what he will see become (Romans 4:18). Step By Faith: Salt isn't meant to stay in the shaker—it changes everything it touches. God didn't place you where you are by accident. For such a time as this, choose to believe His promises and let your life bring hope, courage, and the flavor of Christ to someone today. Verses for Thought: Matthew 5:13 / Romans 4:18 / Psalm 42:7 / Psalm 16:11 / Ephesians 3:20 / Deuteronomy 4:29 / Psalm 82:6 / Isaiah 43:1 / Joshua 1:9 / 1 Samuel 16:7 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Romans 8:38-39 / John 8:32 / 1 Corinthians 13:12 / 2 Corinthians 5:7 / Psalm 84:10 Email Me! In Good Hands

"People keep saying he's not really gone, as long as we remember him. But it still hurts." – Hiro Hamada ....... “No. I can't lose you, too.” – Hiro Hamada “Hiro, I will always be with you…” – Baymax “...I'm satisfied with my care.” – Hiro Hamada - (Disney's Big Hero 6, 2014) ..And you are even more precious to Him than a beautiful bird. If He looks after them, of course He will look after you…” (Matthew 6:26) …He has said, “I will never leave you; I will always be by your side.” Because of this promise, we may boldly say, “the Lord is my help– I won’t be afraid of anything. How can anyone harm me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6) Step By Faith: Jesus reminds us that our Heavenly Father faithfully provides, and Hebrews reminds us that He will never leave us. Today, open your hands as a symbol of the worries, fears, and pain you are holding onto, and place them under God’s loving care– trusting in Him. He will always be with you, therefore, you will always be in good hands. The Banquets All Prepared

“...Don't believe me? Ask the dishes. They can sing, they can dance, after all, Miss, this is France! And a dinner here is never second best. Go on, unfold your menu, take a glance, and then you'll be our guest, oui, our guest, be our guest…” …. “…come on and lift your glass, you've won your own free pass, to be our guest. If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest. Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest!” - (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, 1991) “There's no need to be frightened. I intend to treat you kindly for the sake of your father, Jonathan, who was my loyal friend. I will return to you all the territory that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always be welcome at my table” (2 Samuel 9:7). Step By Faith: Just as King David welcomed Mephibosheth to have a seat at his table, God welcomes you with His love, mercy, and acceptance to sit with Him. Today, whether you’re sitting in your car on the way to work, sitting in a meeting, or sitting at the dinner table, let every empty seat remind you that there is always a place for you in God's presence, and His kindness changes everything. Not One Step Is Wasted

“It may feel impossible, but sometimes you just have to take the first step, even before you're ready” - Sisu (Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, 2021). "We have a choice to build or destroy, to fight or to come together. Love is a bridge and trust is a gift; we give it and it gets better. There's an energy in the water. There is magic deep in our heart. There's a legacy that we honor when we bring the light to the dark. Whatever brings us together can never tear us apart. We become stronger than ever when we just trust" - (Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon, 2021). Your word is a lamp for my steps; it lights the path before me (Psalm 119:105). After everyone was full, Jesus told His disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted” (John 6:12). Step By Faith: Psalm 119:105 reminds us that God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. A lamp doesn't reveal the whole journey—it gives enough light for the next step. Today, trust God with taking the first step– even if what’s in front of you seems impossible. Let Him guide the rest of your steps in His perfect timing. Not one step is wasted. Verses for Thought: Psalm 119:105 / John 6:12 / Matthew 19:26 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Proverbs 3:5-6 / Joel 2:25 / Psalm 118:6-9 / Isaiah 49:23 / Psalm 27:14 / John 14:27 / Psalm 37:5 / Ephesians 4:3 / 1 Corinthians 1:10 / Colossians 3:15 / Romans 8:31-38-39 Email Me! Embrace the Panda

“I've never met nobody like you. Had friends and I've had buddies, it's true, but they don't turn my tummy the way you do. I've never met nobody like you…” - 4*Town (Disney/Pixar's Turning Red, 2022). It is true, Eternal One, that You know everything and everyone. You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder …. Even then You will be there to guide me; Your right hand will embrace me, for You are always there…. (Psalm 139:4-5, 10). Step By Faith: Before you ever speak a word, God already knows your heart. He surrounds you with His love and gently leads your life. Today, choose to see yourself through His eyes—not through comparison, criticism, or fear, but as someone fully known, deeply loved, and wonderfully created for His purpose– for He made you, and there’s nobody like you!
