TCU vs ISU: Ames(ing) for a Bounce Back

After 2 games of the Frogs looking like a potential Big12 contender, the Whysmen are forced to take some time and break down what went wrong for the Frogs this past weekend against Western Virginia. Surprisingly, it wasn't the defense, this time. Then, Jacob looks at potential players for Frog fans to watch for Iowa State, and Barrett dives into ISU's game plan for the Frogs. He also looks at how the Frogs can bounce back after an extremely disappointing second half.Lastly, we are joined by Mrs. Throwback Frog to take a look at other games from around the Big12 this past weekend, as well as making their picks for next weekends games. Connor finishes the episode with his locks of the week.

The Whysmen recap last weeks demolition of SMU, and give out their 3 awards. They also create a new award for a certain player who is literally success. Next, their attention turns to Western Virginia. Jacob takes a look at which players fans will need to know for next week, while Barrett dives into what WVU likes to do, and how TCU can counter it. TCU vs Houston: A New(?) Texas Rivalry

The Whysmen go over what did, and didn't go well in last weekend's game vs Nicholls St, including QB play, defensive energy, and WR play. Then focus shifts to Houston, as the Frogs travel south for their first road game of the year. What should we expect to see from the Cougars, and what do the Frogs need to do to win? Lastly, the Whysmen welcome RollMFToad, a famed TCU burner, on the show to review the games from this past weekend and to make our picks for next week.

Episode 3: Horned Frog Heartbreak

The Whysmen take a look at what did, and didn't, go well in Saturday's loss to the Colorado Buffalos. From coaching tactics to individual players, were were our expectations too high? Where does TCU go from here? The podcast ends with a special guest appearance from the TCU Burner twitter community, Derrico Henrio, as the guys review picks from Week 1 and make their choices for who will win the Week 2 games.

The Whysmen discuss all things Colorado and catch you up on reallignment. Connor talks about the wild week SMU fans had, and about Conference USA's bold choice to take game-name suggestions from fans. Then Jacob gives a run-down on Colorado's new-look roster, detailing out the transfers and players who could have an impact on the game in Fort Worth. Barrett talks Shedeur Sanders and the preparation for a team that has no history. We play a game of "Who's line is it anyways" where Connor and Barrett have to guess if a player plays for Colorado's offensive line, or TCU's defensive line based off of their height and weight. Finally, we end with a congratulations to the new TCU football captains, our score predictions, and our game picks for the week.
