Jesus promised the Samaritan woman that whoever drinks from the water He gives will have eternal life and a well springing within them. This well is our inner capacity to hide the Word of God in our hearts. The desert is where we increase our capacity for God's Word. This capacity is a deep understanding of the Word. It is how the Word has changed and transformed us. When this is shared with others it creates change and a righteous influence. It points people to our Savior. Digging in the Word daily is a requirement for usefulness. When God decides to use us, He won't be limited by what He can say through you. How's your spiritual capacity?
