The Drama Continues on Team Moms: Baseball
Maria, Melissa, and Westerly are back for Episode 2 of Team Moms Podcast, breaking down Episodes 3 and 4 of the reality show Team Moms: Baseball. This week, the Sedona trip brings the drama as the moms talk John vs. Nina, Trish and Nina, LPA, sports academies, and how much reality TV editing might influence what we're seeing. They also compare the show to their own travel baseball experiences, including dads coaching their sons, overcoaching, burnout, and how hard parents should push young athletes. Team Moms: Baseball is officially here, and Maria, Melissa, and Westerly have some thoughts. In the first episode of Team Moms Podcast, the moms break down Episodes 1 and 2 of the Paramount+ reality series Team Moms: Baseball and compare what they're seeing on TV to what actually happens in their own world as travel baseball moms. Who are they loving so far? Who are they still trying to figure out? And is the drama on TV anything like the drama they've experienced at the ballpark? They get into Nina, the "hot mom" conversation, the controversy surrounding a comment made to one of the players, parents getting involved in team drama, coaches, playing up, team friendships, sideline behavior, and whether the reality show is giving an accurate picture of travel baseball culture. Then things get personal as the moms share some of their own stories from the stands, including getting a little too invested in games, getting ejected, surviving the move to kid pitch, and the never-ending question of how seriously parents should take youth baseball. They also tackle a question that's becoming increasingly common in youth sports: Should young athletes have their own social media accounts? This is only the beginning. Watch along with Maria, Melissa, and Westerly as they break down Team Moms: Baseball, talk about their own travel-ball lives, and eventually take on plenty of other shows, movies, and whatever else they have something to say about.
