An empath is viewed as a person who understands the experiences of others emotionally and sometimes even physically. They typically will filter the world through their intuition and can have difficulty understanding what they are feeling.

Empaths can fear losing their own identity. In their relationships, the traditional paradigm should be redefined if it is to succeed. Empaths can restore their balance by being in nature and even though empaths are considered rare, they do make up about 15% of the population.
