Lent begins in the wilderness—but God is already making something new.

In this first message of our five-week Lenten sermon series, Multiplying Love, Pastor Zach reflects on Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness and Isaiah’s promise that God is always renewing—making paths through the wilderness and ways through the desert.

Jesus refuses the temptation to use power for spectacle, self-interest, or easy answers. Instead, he chooses trust, service, generosity, and faithfulness to God. His example challenges us to ask not only how we respond to immediate need, but how love can be multiplied in ways that create deeper care, justice, dignity, and community.
