Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about Jesus sharing the Last Supper in Matthew 26: 26-29. Listeners are invited to discuss what meal they like to enjoy with their family or friends. Families will not only learn about Jesus hinting to the future sacrifice of HIS body and blood for our sins, but also how we celebrate this today with communion. Day 3- Tuesday of Holy Week

Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about Jesus washing his disciples’ feet in John 13: 6-17. Listeners are invited to discuss what their least favorite chore to do at home is. Families will learn that our rescuing king is also a servant king who desires for our hearts to be clean. Day 2- Monday of Holy Week

Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear from Mark 11: 15-19 about what Jesus did after he entered Jerusalem. Listeners are invited to discuss what their favorite thing to do at church is. Families will learn that instead of the temple being a place to worship God, or a place people could gather to pray, the people were using the temple for whatever they wanted! Day 1- Palm Sunday

Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about Jesus coming to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday from Matthew 21:6-11. Listeners are invited to discuss how they react when they see someone famous in person or on TV. Families will learn what “hosanna” means, and how people treated Jesus when he entered Jerusalem on a donkey. It's a Holy Week mini-series! Holy Week is the week leading up to Jesus’ resurrection and is observed by Christians all around the world. This week we’ll learn about the events that took place during the last week of Jesus’ life here on earth. We’ll prepare to celebrate the resurrection of King Jesus, by taking a “STEP.” Join us on Sunday, March 24th for the first episode!

Episode 9 - Serve Differently

Serving our peers isn’t always easy, and in this episode of STEP into the school year families will help their kids explore what it looks like to serve others this school year as they study 1 Peter 4:10.

Episode 8 - Seek Acceptance Differently

In this episode of STEP into the School Year kids will be encouraged to consider ways they seek acceptance, and where true acceptance is found. They’ll listen to 1 Peter 2:9-10 as a way of being reminded who they are in Christ.

Episode 7 - Connect Differently

Welcome to STEP into the School Year, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode kids will consider what it looks like to connect differently this school year as they read 1 Peter 4:9. They’ll be reminded that when we invite others in and befriend others it can be a way to show others the love of Jesus.

Episode 6 - Forgive Differently

Welcome to STEP into the School year where we want families walk with Jesus. Our short devotionals are designed to help kids meditate on scripture, consider what it means, and spend time in prayer. In this episode kids will explore what it can look like to forgive differently this school year by studying 1 Peter 2:21-23.

Episode 5 - Love Differently

Loving others can be hard, and this school year we want to encourage kids to consider how to love differently. Together we’ll explore 1 Peter 3:8-9 and consider how God loves us, and how he calls us to love others in a way that is honoring to him.
