What Would Jesus Say to Us? | Do Not Be Afraid | Week 2

In this message from the Do Not Be Afraid series, Pastor Jason Smith takes us into Revelation 2–3, where Jesus speaks directly to seven real churches facing pressure, compromise, apathy, and suffering. These ancient letters reveal that Jesus sees what is happening beneath the surface and lovingly calls His people back to faithfulness. From the church that had lost its first love, to those tempted to compromise in order to fit in, to those who had become comfortable and numb, Jesus reminds us that both truth and love matter. And to those who are suffering, He offers encouragement: hold on, because your hardship has an expiration date and Jesus is still in control. Through these letters, we are invited to listen closely to what Jesus may be saying to us today. His message is both challenging and hopeful: don’t be afraid, hold on to truth, hold on to love, and remain faithful to Him.

Understanding Revelation | Do Not Be Afraid Companion Podcast | Week 1

What is Revelation really about—and why was it written? In this introductory teaching to St. Andrew’s Do Not Be Afraid Companion Podcast, Pastor Jason Smith helps us see Revelation not simply as a mysterious or frightening book filled with dragons, beasts, and judgment, but as a revelation of what is truly real, where history is going, and where our hope is found. Jason introduces Revelation as an apocalypse, a prophecy, and a letter written to real churches facing pressure and persecution. He also walks through five major approaches to interpreting the book, explores the influence of dispensationalism, and gives us a “map” for the journey through Revelation in the weeks ahead. Our hope is that as we explore this remarkable book together, Revelation would become less intimidating and more meaningful—a book that inspires us to trust Jesus, worship Him, and live with hope because of what is still to come.

Jesus is in the Room | Do Not Be Afraid | Week 1

In the opening message of the Do Not Be Afraid series, Pastor Jason Smith begins our journey through Revelation by reminding us that this book was not written to scare people, but to give courage to people who are afraid. In Revelation 1, John gives us a powerful picture of Jesus—not as weak or defeated, but as the risen and reigning King who is greater than anything we fear. Jesus is with His church, He holds His people in His hand, and He reminds us, “Don’t be afraid.” Whatever circumstances we may be facing, Revelation calls us to look up and remember who Jesus really is, look around and recognize that He is closer than we think, and look ahead knowing that He has already won. When fear takes hold, we can have courage because Jesus is in the room.

How Not to Worry | Consider | Week 5

What has your attention when worry takes over? In this closing message of the Consider series, Pastor Jason Smith turns to Luke 12:22–34 and Jesus’ invitation to consider the ravens and wildflowers as reminders of God’s faithful care. Worry divides our attention and promises a sense of control, but Jesus offers a different way: remember how God has already provided, trust Him with what comes next, and seek His kingdom above all else. As our trust grows, we can begin to live more open-handedly, releasing the grip of anxiety and becoming generous with what God has given us. When we consider the goodness and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, we can face the future with greater freedom, confidence, and peace.

Consider Jesus | Consider | Week 4

What happens when we stop focusing on our circumstances and take time to truly consider Jesus? In this message from the Consider series, guest speaker Ron Brown invites us to look closely at who Jesus is, what He has done, and what His sacrifice means for the way we live today. Drawing from Hebrews 3 and 12, Ron reminds us that Jesus is our Savior, Shepherd, High Priest, source of hope, and the One who gives us strength to persevere when life feels overwhelming. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, our circumstances may not immediately change—but our perspective does, giving us the courage to live as ambassadors of hope, peace, and good news.

Stir Up the Right Kind of Trouble | Consider | Week 3

Faith may be personal, but it was never meant to be lived alone. In this message from the Consider series, Pastor Jason Smith looks at Hebrews 10:23–25 and explores what it means to live in a community that knows us, loves us, encourages us, and challenges us to become more like Jesus. Through the picture of runners training together and the call to “spur one another on,” we’re reminded that God uses people around us to move us beyond comfort and into a life of love, good deeds, and service. When we choose to gather, grow, and serve together, we can stir up the right kind of trouble—pushing back darkness, bringing hope, and becoming the light God has called us to be.

Consider Your Ways | Consider | Week 2

What happens when the things that matter most slowly get pushed to the side? In this second message of Consider, Pastor Jason Smith turns to Haggai 1 and the command to “consider your ways,” challenging us to take an honest look at what has been receiving our time, energy, and attention. Rather than simply putting God at the top of a list of priorities, we’re invited to place Jesus at the center of everything—our families, work, relationships, time, and resources. Through the ideas of priority, pace, and promise, we discover that even a small step toward God can begin to reorder our lives and lead us into greater purpose and satisfaction. When we make God’s kingdom our priority, we can trust His promise: “I am with you.”

The Right Kind of Small | Consider | Week 1

What has your attention? In the opening message of Consider, Pastor Jason Smith looks at Psalm 8 and invites us to slow down long enough to see God, ourselves, and our circumstances with the right perspective. When we focus on the wrong things, our problems can become bigger than they really are and our sense of worth can begin to shrink. But when we consider the majesty of God, we discover the “right kind of small”—a humility that recognizes who God is alongside the incredible dignity and worth He has given us. Ultimately, the heavens remind us how small we are, while the cross reminds us how deeply we are loved.

Take Your Shot | One Shot | Week 5

In the final message of our One Shot series, Brandon Muchow challenges us to consider the most important shot we will ever take: our response to Jesus. Drawing from Hebrews 1:3, Brandon explores the glory, authority, and sustaining power of Christ, reminding us that Jesus is not only worthy of our worship but worthy of our trust—even when life brings disappointment, suffering, and loss. Through a deeply personal story and the hope of the resurrection, this message invites us to take our shot by choosing to glorify, obey, and trust Jesus with our lives.

Strengthened for the Road Ahead | One Shot | Week 4

In this week's One Shot message, guest speaker David Yeghnazar of ELAM Ministries shares Strengthened for the Road Ahead, a powerful reminder that God equips His people for every season of life. Drawing from Scripture and inspiring stories of faith from the global Church, David encourages us to stand firm in Christ, trust God's presence through uncertainty, and move forward with courage and hope. No matter what lies ahead, this message will remind you that the One who calls you is also the One who strengthens you.
