por CJ North
In our first episode with brand new microphones, Elijah guesses the NHL Power rankings, we get Dom's take on the JJ Watt move, and we get ready for the start of the MLB season.
Manchester is Red! SIKE! Manchester is BLUE!!! No matter what color you see Manchester, the derby is this week and the guys couldn't be more excited. Well one of us is, the other is more nervous. We break down last weeks Premier League games, and look at two upcoming fixtures this week, as City's winning streak moves to 20 and United ties Chelsea. Then things get a little heated as the guys discuss the upcoming Derby, but all in good fun.. or is it?
After being rudely replaced last week, Elijah is back to take his rightful spot on the podcast. We break down the NHL power rankings, naturally, break down some basketball, some college basketball, football news, Tiger Woods accident, basically everything in the sports world that you can think of, we covered it. And most importantly we were in person again which was good, sorry for the audio problem, we will get that fixed for next week! Enjoy!
Not only are Elijah and CJ back, but they're back with some stuff! We talk EZ Pass, weather, video games, and whatever else comes to mind!
We are a little late this week, but we are here nonetheless! We got Champions League round of 16 first leg breakdowns, we got Primer League updates, we got transfer news, we got America being good at soccer, we got a little bit of everything this week, INCLUDING ALMOST HAPPY DOM. Manchester United has won 2 games in a row so Dom is starting to feel himself, meanwhile City has won 19 in a row, but who's counting? Elijah sure isn't. Big matchups this weekend for both of our teams, just a great time for soccer all around.
In the first ever episode of Sports N Stuff with just CJ and Dom, we learn a little more about Doms fandom. We talk about the NFL, NBA and the MLB as well as getting into some of his other interest like video game streaming and music.
We got FA Cup results, we got Premier League results, and most importantly we got the return of the Champions League!!!!! City continues to dominate the Primer League, while United continues to crumble right in front of Dom's eyes, and he is NOT happy. Elijah on the other hand couldn't be happier after City dismantled the Spurs. All that and more on this weeks episode!
Tom Brady won again... shocker... but not really though because THIS IS HIS SEVENTH TIME WINNING A FREAKING SUPER BOWL!! WE GET IT, YOU ARE GOOD AT FOOTBALL, YOU DON'T HAVE TO CONSTANTLY REMIND US EVERY FREAKING YEAR! LET SOME ONE ELSE WIN FOR ONCE! I (Elijah) am most definitely not bitter about the fact that the Packers lost. In all honesty though, hats off to Tom Brady and the Bucs! We break down the big game, as well as the halftime show and the not so great commercials. We say goodbye to football season with a little preview going into next year. And of course, the season does not count because of COVID (except the MVP, love you Aaron Rodgers!)
For the second straight week. Dom is in shambles and Elijah is flying high. City stonk us UP and United stonk is DOWN. CIty are coming off their 4-1 impressive victory at Liverpool whereas United bottled another lead, giving up a last minute goal against Everton. We break down the upcoming FA Cup matchups this week and also breakdown the upcoming Primer League matchups this upcoming weekend. We rejoice over a Millwall THRASHING of Sheffield Wednesday and then get into some serious soccer talk towards the end of the podcast that is actually good conversation. Also Elijah's animals once again make an appearance.
Oh wow would you look at that, Tom Brady is in the Super Bowl for the 10th time in his career. The guys could not be more excited to discuss him being there again. Just OVER-JOYED for him. Elijah is also definitely not over the Packers losing to the Bucs and may or may not get angry and loud a couple times. We break down the upcoming game, talk about the Matthew Stafford trade and discuss the stellar 2021 Pro Bowl game. We finish up by talking about the Cardinals trading for Nolan Arenado and Dustin Pedroia retiring from the Red Sox after an amazing career. It is worth the listen.
