In today's TrueStoryTuesday—a brand new series—we learn of John Wesley, who was miraculously rescued from a fire at the age of 5 just before his entire family house collapsed on him. This put in the heart of his family that God had something special planned for John. Wesley was the founder of the methodist church, and a man known for his thousands of sermons, him and his brother Charles' hymn-writing, his methodical and vigorous religious life, and his mission to save souls. Little did anyone really know, all the while preaching, teaching, praying, and writing, John didn't have true peace with God, he was afraid to die, and lacked divine assurance that he was God's own child. But something happens next. Listen to this TrueStoryTuesday to discover the key that opened the door for John Wesley.
