In the third installment of the Odysseus collection, the siblings review how Nolan fundamentally changed his Hero. No longer the overly proud Homeric Odysseus, Matt Damon's character would be more at home slogging through a 70's era Vietnam jungle scape. His listless apathy and aversion to war and violence take the once proud Greek tale and give it a post modern Marxist twist. Like any middle aged man of the woke world, Nolan's Odysseus truly behaves as if he culpable for the entire fall of the bronze age. Could the modern definition of PRIDE be the true reason?
