Sharon is a British journalist and author and visits the Treehouse Studio to share her profound journey through grief after losing her husband Dave to ALS (motor neuron disease). Originally from Manchester, Sharon moved to America in 2005 when the National Enquirer magazine offered her a position as features editor.

One of Sharon's first major assignments was covering the horrifying conditions left behind in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina blasted through. While distributing care packages and meeting survivors, the devastation shocked her, but she also witnessed a remarkable level of gratitude from those who had lost everything—a lesson that would later sustain her through personal tragedy.
