Tikaani Rhys was in Salish Park in downtown Chilliwack in July 2025 when she saw an RCMP officer interacting with some First Nations men who were drinking beer. The conversation escalated to the point where the officer had a man on the ground, kneed him in the back as he tried to handcuff him.

Tikaani didn't like what she saw so she approached and asked questions. But she ended up not only getting arrested but Tasered, too.
