Tomas Berntsson was the founder of TOBE Outerwear and changed the way snowmobilers look at outerwear.  Tomas Pioneered the Monosuit and developed clothing that just works in the outdoors.  Forced out of his own company, Tomas has recently started a new brand Mountain Grit with the original core from TOBE Outerwear— Tomas, with Alex and Marianne there from the early days. Having built a global brand, we learned what it takes to make great gear, and what gets lost when big-money investors step in. We've left to start a new chapter, one that's free from outside interests and true to our original vision: building honest, purpose-driven gear for the community that raised us.
