The Little Bookshop in the Rain - A warm place to stay while the city slows down
Notas del episodio
Rain has been falling over the city since late afternoon.
The streets are shining beneath the lamps, umbrellas pass quietly outside, and one by one the shops begin to turn off their lights.
But at the end of a narrow street, one little bookshop is still open.
In this episode of SLOWLY – Sleep Stories for Quiet Nights, we step inside, leave our wet coat by the door, and spend a peaceful evening surrounded by old books, warm lamps, and the gentle sound of rain against the windows.
We’ll wander slowly between the shelves, choose a book without needing to finish it, make something warm to drink, and settle into a comfortable chair while the city outside becomes quieter.
There is nothing we need to buy.
No story we need to finish.
No reason to hurry home.
For tonight, the rain can keep falling and the world can wait outside.
We can stay here a little longer, surrounded by stories we don’t need to read, until the words become softer, the lights become dimmer, and sleep finally finds us.
