We’ve made it to Episode 30, somehow nobody has been cancelled, sacked or permanently removed from the cabin.
For the Season 3 finale, Dave, Daniel, Andy and Jack are joined by special guest George for an episode that starts serious, gets thought-provoking… and inevitably ends up exactly where you’d expect a Site Cabin conversation to go.
With the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we take a construction-focused look at one of the most significant events in modern history. We discuss the World Trade Centre buildings themselves, their construction, how they responded to the aircraft impacts and fires, evacuation from high-rise buildings, and how 9/11 influenced the way we think about skyscraper safety.
Then comes the question that probably isn't being discussed at many construction conferences:
Should high-rise buildings have parachutes?
Could some kind of emergency parachute system have saved lives? Is it completely ridiculous? Or is there actually an idea buried somewhere underneath the madness? Naturally, the cabin investigates.
We then look back at Season 3 Episodes 21–30, picking out some of our favourite moments, conversations and general chaos from the last ten episodes.
Finally, we look ahead to Season 4 and Episodes 31–40. Where does The Site Cabin go next? More construction? More everyday life? Bigger debates? More guests? More completely unnecessary arguments?
Probably all of the above.
Episode 30 closes one chapter of The Site Cabin — and sets up the next ten episodes.
🎧 Five blokes. One table. Absolutely no guarantee of sensible conversation.
