This week I am covering three cases out of Illinois

*Yasmin Rayon Acree

The lock on the fence and the basement door had been cut and 15-year-old Yasmin Acree was gone.

All of her belongings were still there, even her glasses but investigators classified her as a runaway, not collecting essential evidence in her case.

When investigators finally decided to take a deeper look into Yasmin’s case, they found a neighbor mentioned in her diaries twice, a neighbor who was recently paroled from prison for attempted murder who admitted to taking a liking to Yasmin.

He was later arrested for multiple sexual assaults and kidnappings including two 14-year-old girls…

18 years later, Yasmin’s case remains unsolved
