The Four Worlds: Historical Context for Practical Context (Part 1)

Welcome to a summer series discussing the “four worlds” of Atzilus, Beriyah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah! In this episode, we discuss the history of the four worlds in Jewish consciousness, how this may have influenced the questions addressed to the Frierdiker Rebbe (Rayatz), and the fascinating approach that the Frierdiker Rebbe took in answering the questions posed. [The series is centered on a letter of the Frierdiker Rebbe (found in his Igros Kodesh 4:156 (letter 954), and published with a translation entitled “The Four Worlds” by Kehos in their Chasidic Heritage Series).]
